Art of Life
October 26th marks the highly anticipated release of Matt’s seven-song EP entitled, “Art of Life.” His vision with this musical venture is to grant those who are enduring life’s most soul-wearing seasons a newfound sense of hope. His primary inspiration for its creation is his late wife, who passed away following aggressive cancer treatment back in 2015. In Marybeth’s honor, proceeds will go to The Art of Life Cancer Foundation, where he now serves on the Board of Directors. Music truly is his way of giving back to the world, and he will continue creating throughout his lifetime to remind his listeners that, there is bright hope for tomorrow and they can rise from the ashes anew.
Matt Perkins remarried in August, 2017. He and his lovely wife Kari, who was also widowed in 2015, have a beautiful and blessed blended family of seven precious children, including Kari’s five sons and Matt’s two daughters. Matt serves as Worship Arts Pastor at Peoples Church in Fresno, California.
